Art has always been a way for Linda to connect with nature, and this has never been more evident than in her nature collages. Bark from a fallen tree, twigs, grasses, and pressed leaves all serve to enhance her paintings of birds, butterflies, and wildflowers. She delights in finding all of these right in her backyard and in the woods she loves to explore. Each piece is meticulously crafted and made to endure for many years.
Linda is self-taught with a multi-faceted artistic background, and she works in a wide variety of media. She has won numerous awards for her work in oils and acrylics on canvas as well as for her mixed-media collages. Her home and studio are in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains in a rural community near Roanoke, VA.
