Emily Britton

I am a ceramic artist from Athens, Alabama. I have always had a love for art. As a young child I remember my mother working on her calligraphy and watercolor paintings at our kitchen table.This instilled in me the importance of finding a creative outlet for myself. As an elementary teacher for 28 years, I had the opportunity to create with my students every day. When I retired, Idedicated more time to my art and found my passion in pottery and sculpting. I have found that expressing myself with clay to make something significant is such a treasure!
