Living near the Gulf coast of Houston, Texas, the mountains seemed like a distant dream for them. However, obligations tethered them there until a pivotal moment arrived. After embarking on numerous journeys to find the perfect property, they discovered their haven amidst the mountains of Waynesville, NC.

With a deliberate shift in focus, they transitioned from a herd of over 130 alpacas to a more manageable 21, redirecting their efforts from breeding to the flourishing fiber aspect of their enterprise. Annually, during spring, the alpacas are sheared, yielding a luxurious fleece from which an array of garments and products are meticulously crafted. Utilizing the finest fleece, they fashion items like socks and hats, once exclusively reserved for royalty, now accessible to all, granting everyone the indulgence of alpaca luxury.

Recognizing the remarkable strength and durability of alpaca fleece, they repurpose the fleece from the neck and legs, known as "seconds," into rugs, placemats, and various other utilitarian items where softness takes a backseat to resilience.
