"The Cowee Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 430 is one of the most

photographed spots on the Parkway. This year was a different kind of spring as we

had a lot of rain and cold. The sarvis trees were late and not as plentiful this

spring due to the weather."
