"Sarvis and other trees bloom in late May on the Parkway at 5,950 feet above sea

level. Cowee is loved by photographers for the many layers of mountains in the

distance and the beautiful sunsets. As Spring advances up the mountains many

colors of green and yellow plus the white blooms of the sarvis trees combine with

dramatic light and clouds which result in the image seen in this pano image."
