Living in Ocala, Florida for many years, Linda was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, where she also studied Illustration at the Harris School of Advertising Art in her hometown, and began her long career in both commercial and fine art. Linda specializes in all things living… people, pets, horses, wildlife, and landscapes topping the list. Her mediums are varied, but she mostly uses Watercolor, Gouache and Oils, and is focused on Fine Art.
Linda is inspired by all things around her and is now spending more time in North Carolina, based out of Brevard, where she is surrounded by the mountains and trees much like those she grew up with. Here she feels embraced by her surroundings and enjoys painting these familiar scenes and the wildlife of the area.
Working out of Eades Fine Art Studio in Ocala, Linda gathers photo references from everywhere she goes. She also does some Plein Air work doing both finished paintings on location and using some work as reference for Studio Paintings.
Linda’s award-winning works have been included in many National and International Competitions and displayed in Galleries from coast to coast. One of her portraits hangs in the permanent collection of the House of Parliament in London.
