Bonnie Smith

Bonnie’s stained glass panels are often influenced by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and the Prairie School of Design. She uses a combination of clear, opaque, and textured glass of various colors. The hanging panels are encased in handmade custom wooden frames by her husband, Jere Smith. They also collaborate on making standing natural edge wood sculptures. These pieces are original in design and begin with the selection of a piece of wood, which is shaped and then finished. Then, a cutout is made for the insertion of a stained glass design.
