"I cannot tell you how blessed I feel to live my life in these mountains being able to

walk upon this bald and look at the valleys and mountains. There never seems to be

the same light or scene. I have been photographing here for a long time and things

are constantly changing to protect the landscape. Invasive blackberries are going

to take over the bald in time and grass will be gone and images like this will not be

able to be taken anymore. My walk will continue even as the landscape changes

over time."
