Originally from California, Peter Klingsheim now works and lives in Waynesville, nestled in the mountains of North Carolina with his wife Tamara.
Over the span of 40 years, photography became a passion and a means of self- expression for Peter. But, hidden away, deep inside and festering was a yearning to work with wood as well.
As a young teen, he encountered some wood-working machinery at a local mall, igniting a dream within him to become a woodworker.
Peter’s objective with woodworking is to make furnishings that are both functional and aesthetic, transforming wood into art. His photography hangs in many homes throughout the Country.
Peter states that he can capture and display the incredible natural beauty of his materials but can’t take credit for them. Through his art, Peter hopes to bring joy and thanks you for taking part in this journey.
