As a child growing up in central NC, I never wanted to be anything else but an artist. I loved color, textures, and design. So, for my 18th birthday, my father gave me a 4-night-stained glass class and the studio hired me very soon after "some 40 years ago." I then went on to technical school for graphic design, which only enhanced my capabilities at the studio. Later my love of "all things old" led me to specialize in a vintage style, enhanced with designs of my own. "I see the world around me through colored glass. My views are shades of blues that fill the sky, greens that fill the earth, and yellows that brighten my days. Distorted by textures and fractures, lightened by my soul to brighten yours, to pull our lives together even for that first look and we are connected for that moment in time, through colored glass. The lead, solid and strong, binds our moment, strengthens our lives, and holds us together if only for a second look. The success of my life can be measured in moments, depending on how long I make you look, into my life through colored glass strengthened by lead, held together by love."
