Megan lives in the beautiful mountains of NC. Years spent living close to the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, vacationing in the Cascades and Adirondacks, as well as summers spent on Manitoulin Island in Ontario have inspired her work.
Megan’s paintings depict ethereal mountain vistas, intimate woodland landscapes, sunlit bays, lakes and streams, whimsical songs birds and forest flora. Her landscapes evoke a quiet sense of time and place.
Megan is primarily a watercolor artist but also enjoys dabbling in acrylics, inks and casein. She also likes to add elements of collage to her work. She finds joy in the process of painting, discovering new techniques to create work with interesting textures and color.
Megan has a B.A. in Fine Arts from Ohio Wesleyan University.
