Dewitt Boyd is a gentle, loyal grandfather artist who lives alone, with his cat, in north Georgia. Eccentic to a fault, but not only his fault, Dewitt refers to himself as “Old Dog”. Quite fitting for a seasoned Grandpa, brave, loyal, friendly, adventuresome...and devoted to his master.
Dewitt’s clay pieces are first bisque fired then covered with sawdust and allowed to smolder for a day, creating the exciting, unpredictable finish. A rare masterwork indeed.
